About Us

The mandate of the Manitoba Magazine Publishers' Association (MMPA) is to represent and promote Manitoba magazines, undertaking projects that can best be done collectively or cooperatively on behalf of its membership.

So whether it's a professional development weekend, lobbying for better conditions for publishers or launching a direct mail campaign showcasing Manitoba magazines to the public, the MMPA is the voice for magazine publishing's future in our province.

The MMPA's operations are under the control of a voluntary board of directors.

The MMPA works on a collaborative basis with organizations including Magazines Canada, the Magazine Association of British Columbia, the Alberta Magazine Publishers Association, and the Atlantic Magazine Association.
